I think I used it twice so it didn't bother me as much as other helpers. There is a helper although for the longest time I didn't realize it was there because its an owl and stays in your inventory.
Instead of having a bunch of cutesy characters, it had characters with personality and realness. Usually I don't care for fantasy games but this one was something special. The graphics were extremely lifelike as well. You get a map after you enter the other world and it is very helpful. Games where you never return to destinations are too linear for me. There were lots of things you left to venture farther in the game that you had to return to later. I thought this game was going to be short because of that but the game was actually really long and had so many things to do. I realized I was on chapter 4 after I had only played about 2 hours. Some games need extra fluff to be good but this one had the storyline and game play instead. I liked finding the extras but even without them, I would have loved this game. Snakes, pinecones, skulls and something else I can't remember. The items to collect were 4 different collection sets of 8 objects. I played the hardest mode and even though there were a few black bar hints, I was mostly on my own. I love when developers have that option to see where they are on a map. I played with the map showing me nothing except where the collectors items were and even then I found them challenging. There are items to collect and they are a bit hard to find. None of them were very challenging but there were a good variety and some I hadn't seen before. I was never bored of the hogs like in some games. It was all very interactive and I liked the variety. Put the object back in the right place, find items from an interactive list and silhouette that you find and use within the scene until you pick up the last item. Game is a fantasy type adventure hidden object game. I have never heard of this developer before but if this is what they are offering, I cannot wait for what else they have coming up! What a diamond in the rough this is. The meeting of worlds-humans, dwarves, wizards, you name it BN5 has blended these worlds so intricately and so creatively that gamers who've played the "save somebody you love" theme is completely reinvented and exciting.ĥBN Games has presented more Lost Lands games and they've not only maintained their highest quality and excellence, they have actually honed and surpassed themselves! There's a little bit of all of their games in each one without having to play each in succession. Colors are bold and spectacular without looking ostentatious or out-of-place. Move over other top developers and meet one of the best! No skimping or jerky movements. They are such the best kept secret on BFG. Do you think Customer Service would allow me to, say, do a trade? All the kidding aside, 5BN pays so much attention to detail that it's exhilarating. CRYING THAT I DIDN'T PURCHASE COLLECTOR'S EDITION Here I am crying over here on the CE section because I've replayed this outstanding Lost Lands and other 5BN Games again and again.
